The conflict at the heart of the new streaming week is a clash between nostalgia and reinvention. On one side, Nintendo revives a 1998 classic with modern controls. On the other, a new Prime Video series attempts to capture the life of Muhammad Ali in scripted form for the first time.

All eight episodes of "The Greatest" drop on Prime Video this Wednesday. It is the first authorized scripted series about the boxing legend. Jaalen Best portrays Ali, while Michael B. Jordan and Jay-Z serve as executive producers. The series is created by Ben Watkins. The cast also includes Dana Gourrier, Amin Joseph, Kai Parham, and Michael Ealy.

Video game fans can look to Thursday for the remake of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time." Nintendo has enhanced the graphics and added full voice acting to the title. The Switch 2 Joy-Con allows players to use motion controls for weapons. Players can also hum into the device to activate the ocarina's magical melodies. The original game followed Link as he grew from a child to an adult to defend Hyrule from Ganondorf.

In music, Kings of Leon releases their album "O My Beloved" on Friday. Frontman Caleb Followill broke his foot playing with his children and picked up an acoustic guitar during recovery. He discarded the four or five electric-leaning songs the band had been working on. In their place, the group recorded stripped-down tunes focused on gratitude and family. Followill told the AP that the pivot changed the temperature of the project.

British rapper Skepta releases "The Fork and Knife" on Friday. It is his first solo full-length album in seven years. The record explores his identity as the son of Nigerian immigrants living in Britain. He uses garage, house, jungle, and grime music to frame these cultural themes. Rex Orange County also drops his sixth album, "Dream Fatigue," on Friday. The project features collaborators including Daniel Cassar and Dev Hynes.

Film options include "Possible Love" from South Korean director Lee Chang-dong. The movie won the grand jury prize at the Venice Film Festival and debuts on Netflix on Nov. 6. It follows two couples in South Korea who are brought together by a documentary. Another option is "Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass," an absurdist comedy starring Zoey Deutch and Jon Hamm that lands on Netflix on Nov. 7.

The week also brings "Black Doves" to Netflix on Nov. 5. Keira Knightley returns as Helen Webb, a spy and the wife of Britain's new prime minister. The series picks up about a year after the events of Season 1. Meanwhile, "Zero Parades for Dead Spies" arrives on Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox on Tuesday, Nov. 3. It is a text-heavy role-playing game from the studio behind "Disco Elysium."
