Whitney Leavitt will produce and star in a new reality series for Hulu.
Deadline reported the news on November 4, 2026. Hulu has not yet released a title or air date for the project.
Leavitt teased the show through an Instagram Reel collaboration with Hulu and @GetRealHulu on Wednesday. She captioned the video with the phrase “see you soon.” Deadline describes the program as following Leavitt and her family as they manage her fame and career while prioritizing family.
The announcement follows her departure from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in May. Leavitt left after the show's fifth season. She discussed her exit during a September 4 interview on Good Morning America. She compared the show to a chapter in a book that was ready to end. She noted that she had tried to leave multiple times in the past. She said the final exit felt good for everyone involved.
Leavitt is also active in film and theater. She is set to star in the Netflix holiday romantic comedy All for Love, which releases on November 24, 2026. She will also appear in the Broadway production Just in Time starting December 1, 2026.
The new Hulu project adds to her recent appearances. She competed on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. She previously played Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway.
